Monitoring headphones

im planning to get headphones for studio monitoring purposes.. looking for something dat sounds somehow close to monitor speakers.. somethin flat.. not much boost at any freq.. i was recommended d beyerdynamics dt 770 pro.. yet to hav a listen on it.. it wud b much appreciated if anyone cud giv deir opinions on wt kind of headphones or even IEMs shud i get..

beyer ,from what i've read are the real deal...but i don have the dough to buy it thus i dare not even give it a try haha.

you could try woodworkz sound engineering at penin ,they might have what you need ..

try the Ultrasone headphones....can buy em from sinamex. Better bass response than any beyer or akg..... bout 300 sing. 5 kHz bit hyped but that tells you whether vocals/sibilence is sticking out/ guitar edge. like ns10s with a nice accurate sub. or..akg 271s pretty flat.

You can use headphone to balance sound, but overall you still need speakers.No headphone can replace that.

For the price of the audio technica m30, I can say that beats the senns headphone at the near 100 plus bucks range because it has better overall balance sound and stereo imaging.

very very comfortable.
