Any good monitor headphone to recommend?
I'm considering Sony MDR7506 or Sennheiser HD-280
Prefer closed-back

Who are the dealers and who sell them cheaper?

or do you all have any other recommendations?

It's lower on the mid-range frequencies, but the overall response is nothing short of stunning.

Production of this model may have ceased though. Have a look at beyerdynamic too - they're just as good, perhaps even better. Let your ears be the judge.

Using the Sony MDR7506, can't see any weakness it has so far. Can't compare with the Sennheiser since i don't have that, but i compare it with all other headphones i heard, seems better and more accurate.
One headphones to really drool about, best headphone sound i've heard, Akg K701, but that price is touch-me-not!!!

The AKG701 is not closed I think. But it's supposedly one of the best headphones around.

If you looking for closed headphones, you may want to try out the Audio Technica A900. Or, go for Westone UM2 if you don't mind innerears.

Actually, if I'm not wrong, this causeway point shop "Stereo something" stocks lots of headphones. You can go audition them too.

Just one note though... headphones are not affected room acoustics, so... it might sound very different from normal speakers. Generally, everything is clearer and separated, but it may not be very musical.

Where's the cheapest place to get the Sony MDR7506? Thinking of getting headphones instead of monitors coz my room not very treated.

I've recently heard of this german headphone set called the Grado SR60... anyone knows where to get it? apparently the cost in USD is below $100 so I wanna know if it's availible in singapore.

It's getting rave reviews all over the internet.
