Modding my guitar with EMGs

wow feedback you bought an eclipse? How is it? Is it better then a normal LP? How heavy is it?
I guess i probably won't mod my guitar with emgs..since my guitar pickups are passive and i dont want to go through all the trouble just to mod it. Hopefully will get an eclipse, or if not. Buy a epi at SL sale in june and throw in some nice SDs or something.

Wanted to buy the sugizo edward guitar - 3single coil and a original Floyd rose.
Try out the guitar - dont have the feel for the neck....
Then ask the guy to hand me the ESP sunburst eclipse with Seymour Duncan.
TO my surprise - it freaking light ...... lighter then my ibanez roadstar 2.
the touch of it made me craving to bring it back home....
Was tempted to get this one straight....
But just wanna confirm the one with EMG pickup.
Holy..smoke................... the tone "Power"

So ended up with my wife been $1950 poorer...

Cause eclipse is light and thinner.. and i like the curve on the back.. just make playing more comfortable when sitting down.....
But Eclipse is a class of it own.....

is 18v emg is just connecting two batteries in series?
My also no battery slot....Just have a 9v is enff.... just place it in the below the vol and tone control...
Use the foam that come with the pick up--- or wrap the battery with the foam...
One you change it you will feel the different...
ANd might not wanna use passive pick up again....

turn over your guitar... see that 'cover' thingy with screws? usually located right smack in the middle of the guitar or right behind the volume/tone knobs positions. whatever it is, it is behind your guitar la. now unscrew that plastic cover thingy, if you can fit a 9v battery thru that little space, you're usually good to go. remember to insulate the battery by wrapping it with the foam thingy (comes with your emg package) before screwing back the plastic cover of your guitar.
