Though primarily a musician, Kaye is extremely versatile in terms of keeping up to date with technology and music. Besides playing the saxophone, he also plays the EWI (a wind controlled synthesizer) - that is an integral part of his setup when he performs with a vocoder. A DJ and electronic musician as well, Kaye is equally comfortable on abandstand with live musicians as he is with computers, drum machines, electronic gadgets and behind a DJ console! His live electronic act, whether as a solo performer or with other collaborators, is definitely something to witness - combining live sax, electronics, and MPC style live beats with a maddening display of finger action and head bobbing vibes.
Influenced by all things soulful and deep, Kaye is, in his own way, always interpreting Jazz and Soul related genres of music for the dancefloor. From Hip Hop to abstract beats to House, Disco / Boogie and beyond, nothing is too far out for him to grab.
