Midi interface help!

Hello there, I'm just having a bit of a problem here. I've just invested on a DM5 for my electronic drums and wanted to use it as a trigger to midi converter. I'll use Ezdrummer as the samples but in order for the Module > PC, there must be a midi interface because I simply don't have a midi compliant soundcard.

I own a Line6 Toneport but that wouldn't help at all. I'm cash strapped but I think I can fork out a little more for an interface.

My question is, which interface are cheap/good to get. Also, I just need 1 channel for my module only. I've checked SweeLee and they sold it like 120 with interface with midi cables and 100 without cables; USB. I didnt quite remember the brand.

My budget is about less than 100. 80 maybe a suitable price for me. Help fellow softies.

Thanks in advance.

M-Audio has a Midisport 1x1 ($85)

did you get your DM5 from Sinamex? they should have this too.

$85? Is it possible if I get cheaper than that? LOL :D

Anyway, I got my DM5 2nd hand. 400 bucks and it works, list price from Sinamex is 600 if I'm not wrong?

dont see many people selling 2nd hand midi interface. hee..hee..

how are you triggering the DM5?

Oh shucks, anyway, I'm using DIY remo pads with mesh heads for the triggers with piezo inside them.
