Midi controller for selecting a "solo boost" and other questions

Hello everyone i have a question on MIDI controllers. I'm not very sure about how they work at all.
The problem is i'm gonna buy a new amp soon. The blackstar series one 45(2 Channels 2 modes each, 2 EQs.)
1st is the clean channel has bright mode and warm mode. 2nd is the Crunch channel with Crunch and super crunch mode(sadly controlled by one EQ only).

I need 2 EQs as i intend to use one mode of the crunch channel as a solo boost.

So i've been thinking if i use the Midi controller can i preset it to 1 channel with different volume and EQ settings. So normally my rhytm tone would be that channel( say crunch with a rhytm eq) and then my lead tone would be achieved by stepping on the Midi controller to have the super crunch channel with a different eq( Higher Mids).

So i'm sorry if this is an incredibly newbish question, i just can't seem to find the answer. Is this possible? Is even more possible? Any brands/models of Midi switch to recommend?

The S145 has a shared EQ for all channels and all modes so you cannot have different EQs for different channels, much less modes. You will be using the same EQ settings wherever you are. Seeing this, your wish of using MIDI to do your switching is now up in smoke.

IMHO, if you're just switching channels in the amp, stick with the supplied footswitch. Getting a MIDI controller to do just that is very pointless.
