Here's a product he makes:

It all starts with a blank bronze and than it is gone through acid baths and under the fire to make it melleable - i think..

Michael measures the length of this China he's going to hammer to shape.

Michael starts hammering the china into it's profile. really wicked stuff

Great stuffs Marc..and yes Michael Paiste made his own Cymbals (he design drawings on them)...I saw one he gave to Bernhard of DrummerWorld - I think it's a Ride with a Dragonfly design on it.....very very nice.....but I think they are also for sales - but more so as a collection than playing...it's so beautiful isn't it..Hehehehe

This is his website btw, http://www.swiss-customshop.ch/index.html

Like I mentioned previously, from what I've read, the crazy space/organic artwork is by Verena Paiste, while Michael Paiste creates the cymbals. Yes, they're a husband and wife team.

Just a little history, Michael Paiste is the son of Robert Paiste. He left the company about 8-9 years ago, mainly due to artistic and philosophical differences. I understand he was personally responsible for many of the older signature models.
