Great appreciation to those have visited Sozo at the Singapore Guitar Show. While I have already written it in my blog, I would like re-iterate my gratitude to Terence and Jeremy for their effort in organizing this wonderful event. It was not a big scale event like the IT show but it was a significant one for the guitar community of Singapore.

A detail review of this pickup system can be found here too: http://www.australianmusician.com.au/product-reviews/1223-mi-si-acoustic-duo-a-acoustic-trio-pickup-systems-

This pickup system is known for the natural acoustic guitar tone it delivers. There are some players who are inclined to such tone. If you're the one, you may not need to search further.

Charging your Mi-Si Pickups

Each Mi-Si pickup model comes with a power charger which is specially designed to charge the capacitors in the preamp circuits. Most models only require 60 seconds of charge to deliver 8 hours of playing. A picture of the charger is below.

What if you find yourself without the charger and your gig is 5 minutes away? Mi-Si has taken that into consideration. A clever approach recommended by them is charging the pickup by a 9V battery. You need a stereo 1/4" jack cable. Simply plug one end to the pickup end pin and make contact with 9 fresh 9V battery for 60 seconds. The pickup is good to go after that. See illustration below for clarity.

In this manner, you're not at the mercy of the charger. However, use the charger as first choice over this method whenever possible.
