that was a very helpful post 8finger, i always wondered how the tubezone sounds like and you sure know how to make it sound good! Great playing too btw
thank you! I'm planning to make more on the tubezone cos I only showed two sounds that I like to use, but with 6 knobs on this chrome monster, there are a lot more tones to showcase! RMC wah demo coming up soon too.
im getting one for its awesome high gain tones. i tried it at blackwood and i was woah! drive past the 3/4 mark you can get serious metal tones....more modern metal tones rather than 80s however. and the pedal was dead quiet.....And i tested it on a mesa lone star rect combo clean channel, and the pedal's tones almost matched the amp's dirt channel, but with a tad less grit(smoother). May not be a bad thing as i liked how the pedal had its own unique characteristic sound with the recto vibe.
i'll get straight to the point.i am done with multis, which i have been messing with for years.i wanna go analogue now.after much research,i have a few on my list.
tubezone(my first choice)
krank distortus maximus
radial tonebone
coffin case blood drive
tubescreamer
boss series
i play many types of music.so versatility is important.advice please.thanks.
