Ah...one of my fave bands
Absolutely love their lush layerings, multi-odd-timings and yet catchiness of their songs.
Their first album, "Triumph for Man" was a little quirky, yet already set the pace for their style. Then came 'Half the world is watching me', which started to be a little different but contained some gems that gave us a preview of what to come. "Frengers" is the subsequent release and the best-loved album for Mew fans I guess (I love almost every song in it!). Finally "And the Glass Handed kites" showcased more of their technical and song arrangement capabilities with the concept of continuity in their tracks...
Their vids are awesome too!
Here's one of their mellow hits, Comforting Sounds vids (check out the block inlay Jaguar! *drools*):

P.s I also love the fact that their guitarists and singer, play a couple of Jaguars and teles and use AC30 for their signature tone/sound
(okay, okay, I know I'm a Jag freak :lol
