What do u guys think of Joey Jordison playing drums for Metallica at the Download festival?

joey is a good drummer but he doesnt have the metallica flavour.
the things lars do for metallica is unique and almost irreplacable.
i mean the way lars interact with kirk james and robert is like a family.
the way lars entertain the fans is also one of a kind.

YES.joey is a fantastic drummer. but he belongs to slipknot.

yes well said. and joey cant pick fights with james, whereas lars always does. in tht case, james can nvr find a better friend :lol:

Yes i agree...Lars is really inovative..and his showmanship rocks!!
Not bad for Joey also, cause he was told last minute...and had to jam backstage to learn the songs before they performed..

I'm guessing he would have played the songs before and they werent new to him

joey belongs to the metal side of the family..Any songs for him would be possible..but then again i believe he belongs to slipknot...a great drummer with versatile metal influences!!..he is not only a good drummer but also a good guitarist
