Mapex Black Panthers - Steel or Maple? Some opinions please? :)

Hey guys,

Has anyone tried out the Mapex Black Panther stainless steel 6.4/14 AND the maple 5.5/14 snare? And does Nigel carry them both?

Am hoping to get some quick reviews, because I'm eyeing either one and before I go hunting for a chance to try, I was hoping to see what others have to say about it. Thank you all for your time!

Personally, i do prefer the maple. I am sure Nigel can get for you but mydrumschool also carries Mapex Black Panthers snares and Mapex drumkits.

erm the school is called MyDrumSchool =X hehe.. pro musique oso carries mapex stuff. im eyeing black panthers too =D
