hhahha all the memories, eh fgl?

'94 i was watching captain planet and TMNT. only really got started in say, primary 4? played soccer morning day and night. before school, during recess, stay back after school to play. still kena TAF club. cb.

fav player...eric cantona la. Back in his days, man utd was on faiiyaa. i mean, who else dared to flying kick a spectator..woohoo!

bro fgl
i am a man utd fan, quite hardcore i should say but let me be the first to pay compliments to arsenal.
the football that was and is being played since Mr Wenger took over the reins of Gunners is by far one of the best that I have seen
reminds me of 70's Ajax and 74 Dutch national team-Johan Cryuff stuff
sometimes i envied the way the game the gunners played as is it is how it should be played
and let me say this also-mr wenger is probably the best coach/manager in EPL. why should i say this??
he had turned average players to truly phenomenal players-look at the current team.

this are hard facts and to me, mr wenger is the best signing that arsenal have made.

btw my fave arsenal player-charlie nicholas
fave defender-tony adams
fave striker-denis bergkamp
fave midfield- liam brady

ehh...red devils and gunners have shared a common player
only the true fans would know this...

Here's an interesting post from a Man U fan to the epl thread, just to share ......

me thinks the best EPL match this current season was between Gunners and Man Utd..
now THAT IS FOOTBALL..

yo Dime how about a list of worst signings??
for me- the no.4 guy who went to chelsea later
all hype no substance-even worse than alan brazil..

Man U V Gunners was excellent ....

Worst Man u player ever has to be Massimo Taibo....

taibo ok lah
you dont expect much from him coz at that time he is not that well known outside of Serie A

but that botak come with 37 mill pound price tag..
and what did he do...macam play football at void deck lah

flick here, back heel there..my grandfather (RIP) when that botak played, want to smash TV with his walking stick lah..

and that time even the shareholders/fans have questioned Sir Alex ability to manage the club..

Juan Sebastian Veron? Strange...he was damm good for Argentina...

guess epl was too fast and tuff for him

BTW hahha good one abt yr granddad & the walking stick story - heh

my granfather(RIP) passed away last week sat morning..i am still in mourning period
but he was quite a man utd fan also..thats where i think the passion passed on
his favourite was Bobby Charlton-to him , Sir Bobby was the PROFESSIONAL...

So sorry to hear about your grandfather, my sincere condolences.

Dont worry, his spirit will be looking down on old trafford on match days from here on en.

Yes both Bobby and Jack Charlton were REAL DEAL PROS ...unlike many of todays "for hire" mercenary type players in the epl.

Sorry to say I was never a fan of any Man U players (or any other club for that matter 0 lolz) though especially in the 70s when they had so many Scottish players, I understand they used to be also known as Mac Chester United... or so some commentator said so..

betul bro

70's mac chester utd..
hahahaha thats why they got relegated in 74
and the person who scored THE goal that sent them down in Div2
Dennis Law...the King of Old Trafford...hahahah when he played for Man City

after scoring the goal, he did not celebrate and asked to be substituted...
that is a PROFESSIONAL..paid to do his job..

good idea.keeps this thread going.to me the worst as in contributed s**t to man utd was pretty much fabien barthez and taibi.the other scenario for worst signing would be liam miller(only been at man utd to warm the bench).and anyone still remembers luke chadwick or jesper blomvquist(is that how you spell it?).anyone?

Blomqvist was a good backup for Giggs... injury prone though.

Worst signing has to be Djemba-djemba... so good they named him twice

djemba-djemba....hahahaha
he was a cameroun international..to be fair to him, he was an unknown outside French league

just imagined if his name was on the scoreboard, scoring a hat trick

djemba-djemba
djemba-djemba
djemba-djemba..

looked odd ain't it...hahahahaha

Dong Fangzhuo..i still rmb last season man u vs chelsea after man u had won the priemiership. alex put mostly 2nd team to the line up.... e ball go this way, he go tat way...aiyo headache sia. striker somemore
