Making Mods to MultiEffects

I just got a Behringer X V-amp. It's my first multieffect, and it sounds really great for the price - but there is one thing that really annoys me.

When I switch from one preset to another, there will be this .5 second pause between them. .5 seconds is a lot when playing and with this I can't possibly play live without sounding bad.

I know that this isn't a 'problem', it's supposed to be like that.

My main question: Is it possible to modify it so that the pause can be eliminated?

I don't think it's ever possible with a simple solder job, almost all multi efx pedals are like that. If it's possible the manufacturer should have already shipped it that way
