maestro guitars constructions

hello,

I was wondering whether maestro guitars were made out of solid wood panels or if it was laminated woods that were used.

I am asking because I have a friend of mine who may sell me his Larrivee (ebony fretboard, mahogany solid body, spruce table) and I noticed a huge difference in sound between laminated and solid bodies.

We have a full range of guitars; from laminated to partial solid to full solids. The guitar top is the most important and the rest will contribute subtly to the sound. Use your ears to decide though, some makes of laminated guitars sound better than introductory model solid tops of famous brands.
