Low bass kick thud from triggered module

Hey guys, is it possible to get the low and deep thud for bass kicks acoustically? Similar to those from live concerts, where the bass kicks are triggered, and/or those in studio recordings.

The ones at a jamming studio are usually too... bright/trebly, and I know nuts about tuning drums, lol

What i use for my bass drums is EVANS EQ4 clear.
i did not stuff mattres inside bt rather my old clothes...n i oni stuff a few of it...
n walah!!!! a thud boom sound....

If you need an accoustic boost, have you seen the Yamaha SubKick ? It works but gosh - its costly and weighs quite a bit as well

you can make one on your own. get a 10" or 12" cone (depends on how deep u want it to be) wired it up and off you pop! home made sub kick! Ah boy @ TNT studio is using the home made sub kick.
