Hi all,
A repost - I have for sale a Lovepedal 200Lbs and a Superlead. The 200Lbs pedal has been discontinued and will be highly collectable. The superlead as i understand will only be produced for a short limited run and after that it too will be discontinued.
200Lbs is a silicon fuzz pedal designed to emulate Eric johnson's 200 pound violin tone. Hence the name.
It does produce a thick singing and sustaining lead tone that would come close to Eric johnson's tone with some stereo reverb and delay thrown in the mix. It is also capable of higher gain fuzz settings than the standard fuzz faces. I bought this a while back and realised that i am a germanium fuzz guy. Silicon fuzzes are typically of a higher gain variety much like how Hendrix's electric ladyland has much more gain than say axis bold as love. $200
Superlead is a specially designed pedal by sean love to create the Marshall JCM Stack sound. Not much is known about this pedal except that it is exclusive to guitar center. Its gotten excellent reviews comparing it to the high gain redhead, another legendary lovepedal. Apparently the design and gain stages are similar except that the superlead is tweaked slightly lesser in gain with more mids. I got this pedal on a whim and subsequently found that i had too much gain on my hands. $140
