now i got a friend to help me out, so we are keeping things in check & probably lower cost so bands dun have to bear the burden of selling exp tickets, yet getting to perform.

haha a DGO does not reveal his secrets in public but I can forsee one problem already.

If its just you and your friend, who's going to control the ticketing, prompt the bands, manage the crowd, protect the equipment when either one of you are playing onstage?

So first step: get manpower. Eager and willing manpower. And please budget for their meals and transport.

Neuro it is very thoughtful of you to help young new bands , I think young new bands should band together to organise your own gigs . Why let some DGO do nothing and get the biggest piece of the pie.

yeah if this gig is successful, i might continue to keep organizing bands to play on regular basis.. not only will they get to play, and they dun need to sell expensive (which sometimes might be a turn off for friends who wanna come).

i have profiled most of the new bands after they sent in their application. the funds will be used to provide a performance space, as well as the drinks for the gig-goers, as well as a rebate to the band for their effort in putting up the performance.

lets help me make this a success
