How come nobody mentioned passengers taking lost items quietly without the cabby's knowledge? :lol:

hehehe i did that. Didnt trust the cabbie so i took the wallet I found and called numbers on bsuiness cards i found in there (had ID and everything) and got hold of the owner. gave it back and he gave me a $50 reward

Some cabbies will remind me that my bass is behind the boot after i paid the fares...One of my friend lend his bass to his friend and also lost his $7000 custom made in Japan lefty bass in the cab too...So I hope you will find it back asap.

Sad to hear that. Just wondering, how could your friend be so forgetful to leave the bass in the boot? too tired at 2am? Shouldn't he be totally responsible for that? :?

just to share: if i'm taking cab, i'll always carry it with me into the passenger back seats. even if it is a bass, it shouldn't be too tall to bring it in.

anyway, you may wanna alert Guitar Connection / G77 with your bass' serial and description and your contacts, just in case that cab driver (or whoever) thought he can sell it off at Peninsular so easily.

Yeah. I usually put my stuff with me as well unless there are 2 or 3 of us (all with gear). 3nab's helping me out with the G77/GC side, but I'll go down when I have the time again just to make sure. Thanks man

Sounds like all of you got bad experiences. I once left my phone in a cab. So i called my phone to try my luck. He picked up and offered to drop by my place to return me. How sweet of a cabbie. Mabbe I m just lucky
