I'm a bass guitarist looking for like-minded people to start a heavy duty band. Mostly influenced by 1970s and 1980s HR/HM bands like Rainbow, Dio, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Uriah Heep, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Loudness, Earthshaker, 陰陽座, 人間椅子 etc. Welcome singers, guitarists, keyboardists and drummers. I write songs too and can sing backup vocals. I also have distro contacts in the EU and Japan and if the opportunity presents itself, I have the physical and financial means to take it further.
No delusional people with unrealistic expectations. This band will not pay your bills, student loans, HDB BTO mortgage etc. If you're debt-saddled, you shouldn't be playing metal and expecting the genre to bail you out. Get a proper job, start a sustainable business or learn how to invest.
No gear snobs and endless tinkering of knobs and pedals just to find your tone. My time and the band are not your personal sonic laboratory.
