I am looking for a suitable bassisist and a drummer to make up a jazz oriented combo for the purpose of working up some repertoire for performance at gigs, functions, weddings, jams etc. We already have a pianist and saxophone player currently. The requirements are as follows :
1) Must be faimiliar with jazz standards, bebop and smooth jazz.
2) Able to play and improvise competently in the genre.
3) Able to read lead sheets and other music scores as required.
4) A reasonable standard of competence in playing your instrument
