looking for a 24-fret bass guitar

Hey, yo people! I'm looking for a 24-fret bass guitar with an amplifier. My Mom is very unwilling to fork out alot of money, so, can anyone out there with a seemingly endless cache of knowledge tell me the cheapest one and where I can find it?

well theres one at davis.. a samick bass not sure what model is it.. it includes an amp as well.. im not sure whether it has 24 frets.. the last time i went there it cost $250 i think.. hope this helps
