Looking for 4 string P-Bass

Anybody know where to get really cheap but good P Bass packages? Thinking of starting out on the bass so yeah...just need a cheap but good bass to whack around...

davis has SX starter kits. those arent bad. u might want to upgrade the amp that comes with it later one though.

I second the recommendation for SX starter P-bass sets. Good value for money and good tone. Only down-points are worksmanship issues but I am sure it would tide you over in your early endeavors on the bass.

hmm... but the yamaha DO have top notch electronics, so if you can get a good cheap one, gd for you.

P Bass classic. go look for an MIM P-bass for under 500. don't pay for anything more.
