Does anyone try one of these in strat? currently i have fralin blues special which is I like, I want to get different tonal than BSpecial in my other strat.
Which one suit the best?? Blonde or apache... which is i found it is about the same in tonal quality.

I want more too late 50's tone. Brighter, sparkle n chimey at high, enough punch. But not as dark as blues special. This will meet my strat which is alder n rosewood fboard. Could u suggest what is suit to it? Thankss
I've the Apaches for 3 years now and I'd say they can go from clean to crunch nicely. You'd be surprised that they can be driven hard even though they are chimey when clean. Make sure you use at least CTS pots to optimize their dynamic characer.
