Live performance problems with pedals & cables

Anyone ever experienced problems with your guitar cables getting in the way of your pedal board / multi effects, causing tweaking in the pedal knobs?

I recently experienced when moving around during a performance, my guitar cable sometimes gets its way near my multieffects knobs causing an unwanted tweak in my settings. This is a big problem for live performances.

Anyone has the same experience? How can we go about preventing something like this?

yeap experienced that before.. mis-stepped on my pedals and kicked the volume knob of my boost pedal so in the end there was no sound, hahah.

but in terms of cables, perhaps try duct taping them to your pedalboard? But what pedalboard are you using? o.o If it's a pedaltrain then perhaps you can try tucking the cables away below the board?

I'm using a multi effects so it's quite "organized" only a cable for output and input. Maybe taping it to the side might help.

About cables, are those cheap 25ft <$20 cables advisable to get?

Well seems like tape is the solution for you, at least temporarily.

Personally I use Mogami cables from TYMC. Doesn't have to be the best but lifetime warranty is better than saving $10 on some cheapo cables to me.

wireless.

I've never had issues though, just be mindful of where you walk? it's not hard to ensure that your cable doesn't run over your board and the knobs on it.

Please don't get those cables with cut off switch.. expensive.. and give problems.. my band member used one of those.. then, during a performance, got cut off midway.. mechanism spoiled..
