Line6 POD Studio, a TonePort upgrade/repackage?

The GX, UX1, and UX2 now come under a new product line named "POD Studio". Previously, they were under the "TonePort" product line.

Physically, they all got this "all black" new look, and the software interface is known as the "POD Farm".

Watch this thread to see if there's any clearer answer from the Line6 guru.

Forget about TonePort GX, UX1, UX2 for now? For those who are planning your purchase, maybe we should wait and see. Yeah, me waiting too.

anything with vu meter FTW! Heh, even if its redundant(using lcd display instead), that vu meter still nice to look at when needle moving

heh, that said, i went with presonus in the end. The ux2 was tempting though when shopping for a audio interface a while back.

I'm planning to buy the UX2. It's something that will cover all my needs in recording.

gotten a firebox. Wanted something using firewire.

i like the inclusion of the amp/pod farm thingy for the ux series. But for what i used, guitar recording just a small part so didnt really went all the way with it
