Quite good for a start if you want to explore the effects & amp settings.
I used it last time for sch gig and it was able to endure the scorching heat of the sun.
however, there are several negative feedbacks on this amp @ line6 forum.
I guess its up to your luck sometimes. These are digital stuff afterall.
Do move on to effect pedals once u know what you want. Cuz this thing is just gonna limit you after awhile.
