I m a beginer, and i play solo more than riff ,as the title, which amp should i choose??or any other suggestions?(the price should be at the same level as the2 amp)
By the way, where can i get the 2 amp mentioned above?

wow, wish i could try a cube 30x coz right now, im satisfied with my line6 spider 3 15watt amp. if there's something better than my practice amp, i'd sure like to try one.

what's so good about the line6 spider 15 or 30 watt amp is that it has 3 distortion channels, reverb effects and chorus/phaser/flanger effects. you use 2 effects at the same time. gives out an almost tube-powered tone when you you the distortion channels. for the price i paid for my line6 spider3 15-watt amp at $150 at music city, its a steal!

oh sounds like line 6 spiders's distortion is very heavy, i think thats what i need, so where is city music? do they also have spider iii 75w?

city music is at peace centre on the 2nd level. fyi peace centre is next to parklane which is located along selegie road.

im guessing roland cube 15 should have similar distortion sounds to 30 right? if so then i dont think there is enough gain on them

so u mean i should get a 60w or higher one so as to get better sounds?

I think predz23 was referring to the Cube's distortion and that it doesn't have a big gain range on both the 15 and the 30.

Get a higher wattage only if you need to play at really loud volumes. If it's just a home amp and you can't crank it without your neighbours calling the police, a 15-30 watt'er will do better.

Are you certain? cos i dont think so.

Even the bigger spiders sound distinctively solid state. Digital for that matter, yes.
