Line 6 M13 --question

I bought a line 6 M13 recently and tried using a yamaha expression pedal with the wah's. But when I set as per the manual, once I try using the pedal It seems to cut out after very little movement ( can only move pedal a small way ) > If I try to move the pedal more than about 30% of its travel capability, the pedal function stops.
Does this mean that the Potentiometer in the yamaha pedal isnt compatable with Line 6?? do I have to buy a line 6 pedal for the wah to function well??

You try to calibration between the pedal and m13.

If your expression pedal has a 25k pot then i guess u are pretty much ok.

Not too sure if the pedal u are using is compatible with the M13
I'm using the EX1 and its flawless.

u can try the ernie ball VR JR as well

Thanks guys, I did calibrate between the heel/toe exactly as in the manual but after doing that, when I try to use the wah I only can move the pedal about 1-2 inches before the wah stops working. Once I go out of the wah-- and then back on to it, the pedal works again within the 2 inch travel. So I guess the Pot may be wrong. I will buy an Ex1 as that should be compatible,
