LEVEL UP! – The first ever music artiste development program that focuses on developing the artistry, repertoire, content creation, branding and business skills of upcoming youth music talents to help them find their signature sound, hone their craft and build their audience to be market ready.

With local rising stars The Sam Willows and Gentle Bones gaining more traction, this program aims to encourage and inspire youths to chase their dreams and to support the local music community.

12 new upcoming youth music talents will be cherry picked through a selection process and participants will receive full guidance from the program’s panel and collaborating partners.

A total of 12 new original Made-in-Singapore singles coupled with a music video each will be developed and promoted to the public within the first two quarters of 2016.

Participants will also receive mentorship from the program’s ambassadors, the first of them being sassy singer-songwriter Tay Kewei, with others to be announced in the coming weeks.

“The promotional and developmental aspects of this program will generate a greater awareness, deeper appreciation and elevates the standards and perception of the musical talent we have here in Singapore. This project will engage the public and target audiences by showcasing the creation and development processes of the talent. It will also encourage and inspire the youth in Singapore to pursue music, pursue their dreams, be involved in the arts community and ultimately contribute to the growth of a vibrant youth arts scene in Singapore.” – Level Up’s Program Director, Roland Lim.
