last qn... how does the studio's '' Neck Pickup: 490R Alnico magnet humbucker & Bridge Pickup: 498T Alnico magnet humbucker ''
differ in terms of tone from the ''burst-buckers'' of the LP standard? How do you find your LP standard?

Mine is a 2001 LP Standard, so it's fitted with 498/490 pickups. The burstbucker will sound like a PAF( the pickups fitted in very 50's LP, i think so). I personally prefer the burstbucker, it sound like a vintage LP.

The LP forum, you can ask them abt it. They are the les paul craze ppl. So i pretty sure they can help you.

really? i remembered the list price at guitar gallery is 4.7k. And the chap gives a 20% discount, which gives $3800.

Or are there other prices?

No... only once in a while. Some of their 2nd hand product is quite rare. Guitar gallery also do not know how to price their guitars. They also don't know how to date a gibson guitar. So when you go there, you need to be smart.
