Les Paul Juniors Information and Comparisions

hi ! i just wanna know and further my knowledge on that of les paul and les paul junior designed guitars...(as long as its modelled like one)

could anyone out there help me?
and could anyone give me tips and advice on better sounding les paul models etc...?

thanks loads...

*my gear : yamaha aes420.
p.s the neck's too thick and the pickups suck

i find the aes's neck quite comfy. if your into les pauls, the necks are usually around tt kinda dimensions.

Gibson Les Paul necks are kinda in the same ball park as the AES. Look at epiphone les pauls, their necks are usually thinner.

if you want a slightly smaller neck, try the models with the 60s slim taper neck profile.

still however, lp necks are still on the thick side if thats a concern.

btw josh, its matt here

to matt

yeah i know its you. i saw ur nick on other forum posts too... thanks for introing me to s.o.f.t....lol 1 yr after intro then i use this site...lolx

thanks though. ya but mind if i ask does gibson's p90's pickups are they like compatible with yamaha's aes....etc...i rip off the stupid lousy pickups and play p90s or gibson's humbuckers? is that possible...

though i think the woodwork would suffer holes there....

p90s are not the same size humbuckers unless your talking abt those humbucker sized replacements. Gibson has a p94 which is a p90 in humbucker size.
Had those for a while din liked them. You can try looking at the Duncan Phat Cats. There are some other brands that have humbucker sized p90s but cant think of any off hand..
