subversion Moderator Sep 15, 2008 #2 the tune-o-matic component is responsible for your string action (height above the frets), it's not meant to be screwed all the way in.

M mus New member Sep 15, 2008 #8 I don't think it will affect the tone. It will just affect on how easier or harder to press on the string. I tried playing around with mine yesterday, to lower the action and it feels great!
