Yo Nitro_Circus, although Kurt was using a Fender Jaguar too, his was a real vintage one with bindings and he added full-size humbuckers. For me, I just added a single-coil size humbucker (hot rails)...

I too play a right handed(normal) guitar, it`s jus that I have xtreme difficulty when i started playing guitar....
