I've been playing the guitar for about 2 years max.Been progressing slowly now.I'm a right hander.I've tried to turn the guitar around and play.Even change the position the strings on my acoustic so it will be a lefthander guitar.TO my suprise,i could play faster this way.Does this mean I'm a Lefthander?
How do you guys determine weather you are a left or right hander?

I know lefthanders who play upside down, I know lefthanders who play righthanded, I know right handers who are left footed, and most army guys will know at least someone who's right handed but left master eyed. My mum is right handed but sews better with her left hand.

I say play with whatever works best.

you mean if i'm more comfortable playing with my left,i should start playing with my left hand?If i were to continue playing with my right hand, does it means i wont play as good as i will with my left?

Well, since you are a right-hander, it would obviously be easier to fret with the your master hand.
But then again, ever gave thought to why your master hand is originally assigned to do the picking/strumming etc? And letting the weaker hand(left) to handle the fretting?
It's because the picking/strumming is actually the harder job. Thus, the more efficient/stronger hand is required to handle the intricacies of strumming/picking dynamically, with feeling.
Not that I'm, in anyway, discounting the skills required with regards to fretting.

Play with whatever you're comfortable with. There's no right or wrong. Let's leave it at that.

Both your hand is doing something.. therefore why care wether its left or right, u have to train both your hands.. just like a piano IMO there is no left hander or right hander...
