Hi guys

Any recommendation for a bedroom LED / LCD TV? Any difference between HD Ready and Full HD?

Full HD = 1920 X 1080 resolution. HD ready meaning get accept Full HD but will not show the full HD resolution. LED TV mean LED backlight with LCD screen. Normally I choose Sony. They may not make the best screen, but their Bravia engine is good. But you need to tweet the color setting to really enjoy the screen. If you are not that techieall the korea brand is good enough.

Full Hd are able to watch 1080p/1080i shows at its best quality.
While HD ready is only able to watch 720p videos at its best. It does not mean that u cannot watch 1080p/1080i shows on the HD ready. its just that it will not be as clear as watching them on Full HD tvs .
Pherhaps it will be just like 720p quality.

Someone please enlighten me if i'm wrong somewhere.

1080p and 1080i are very similar. as the difference is that the pixels and vertical and horizontal in the 1080p and in the 1080i its different.(cant remember wads its like)

Conclusion 1080p> 1080i ( technically)

im currently using lg led screen, led basically makes spots of the screen for eg in a movie more alive, instead of just a pitch black spot..
and yes i would recommend lg screens, great value for money if u ask me..

1080P mean flash the whole screen in a single cycle. 1080i mean in one cycle it will flash even vertical lines and odd vertical line in other cycle. There is quality difference if you know how to spot them.

I end up getting a LG LE5300 22 inch LED. Paid $475 for it. So far so good.
