As the opening act for Jason Mraz at the recent Mosaic Music Festival with her band the Unxpected, Shirlyn has been inspired to create more of her own compositions with influences from Chris Cornell to Thom Yorke. Hear her perform some of these original works, as well as a collection of covers from Radiohead, Annie Lennox, Rachael Yamagata and more.

Come experience a different side of Shirlyn and enjoy a night of intimate rock acoustic music, backed by the Unxpected comprising Rene Hombre (guitar), Asri dbassbitch (bass), Brandon Khoo (percussions), Joan Chew (violin/piano), Colin Teo (guitar) and guest artiste Addy Rasidi (winner Best Top Local Malay Pop Song Compass Awards 2006)

28th July 2006 Friday 9.30pm Esplanade Recital Studio.......

Best Regards,

th

dude
this also features Great musicians playing. n the drummer really one of the best in Asia.

Just to add on to Grain's comment (hi naz) - All the musicians in The UnXpected are really good. Check out Rene Hombre (Pinoy legend BrawnAwt) and Edi/Adi (spelling) Gilbert. The baldy dynamic duo Azri 'bassbitch' battang on a 6 string bass and Collin Teo on Keys (whos also a professional bass player, for them on certain nights at Bala Clava). And last but not least, Joan Chew on electric violin (she plays Keys/piano too!) and Super Brandon Khoo Khoo Jiao on drums! My favorite drummer in Singapore. Period. Really. Bye.
