Comments on the course Music Technology in LaSalle SIA.

Cause i wanna do sound but yet play music at the same time.

bro, i'm studying there, am in my 2nd yr and i say i'm not really impressed with it. it's not fantastic at all, i'm sure u can find better places to study music tech

1. no gd equipments
2. expect to learn more abt programming than recording, if u wanna do it, then it's fine. cuz u'll be doing stuff like MAX/MSP.

all i can say is, i'd like to switch to the music program in the next semester

Hhahahahah serious man! =/

oh then what about the Singapore Poly's Music & Audio Technology?? The webby's kinda interesting and it provides attachment. which is very, very benificial. i think.

SP is all music tech based you don get to learn alot of music in there. actually it depends on you what you want major in, lets say you want do recording den go SP den outside go furthur ur knowledge on music by urself it depends on you actually. its just see how you look at a course and how you think its going to benefit you .

then maybe you want to do music if you think lasalle is no good you can go NAFA and den just furthur ur knowledge on music tech outside, SAE give you the chance to do both. you can go SAE take the one yr music tech course, den go to NAFA lASALLE take the music course. like that you kill 2 birds in 1 stone in just 4 yrs y not.

:)

now i know whats araon nick lols

For SP its below 12 i think, but SP got some famous teacher too. when i finish foundation in lasalle i was about to change to SP, it so happens my dad know the principal of SP i mean like the course progamme leader, and then he told me what SP is heading on and whats the difference between SP and lasalle and all. from what he says, SP focus on technology they wont spend time teaching you theory, but you will get to learn acoustic sounds and all. But seriously with the web you can learn all of that which makes pple think twice about going in there. but well you got to admit that SP cert is very recognise in singapore.

but with 18 you can go to NAFA and LAsalle easily. :)

easily? haha that's good news! =)

So then, NAFA, LaSalle SIA or SAE.

Anyone can gimme a good breakdown of the courses and stuff? Thanks softies.
