Laptop stand?

Not very sure if a laptop stand can be fixed to the keyboard stand. One way is you could get a 2 tier keyboard stand and use the top tier with a piece of wood to put the laptop. However it might not be very desirable because of the shaking/vibration of the keyboard stand when playing.

I suppose you can just place your laptop conveniently near the keyboard on a seperate stand. I've seen people use a music stand tilted horizontally for this purpose.

There are quite a few notebook stands out there like the one you mentioned (a lot of them better actually). They are meant for DJ - tabletop purposes. Not sure if they will fit onto a keyboard stand.

The problem is that most keyboard stands are not 100% sturdy. When you play hard, the stand will shake. There's always the danger of your notebook falling off, unless there's a way to secure the notebook on the notebook stand by screws. Notebooks are pretty light, so danger is there. Even then, excessive jerky movements may harm your notebook (particularly the HD).

They are notebook stands that fits on music stand. Suggestion is to keep the notebook on a separate stand (usually music stand with notebook stand adaptor) from the keyboard stand - for safety.

Thanks so much for the reply, it was really informative.

Musical stand with a notebook stand adaptor? I don't get that.

I can't remember where I seen it. It's a large metal clip device that fits on a music stand. Your notebook basically fits on it. It's supposed to be used for electronic sheet music using your own notebook (there are electronic sheet music that requires their own hardware, but this one uses your own notebook).

Anyhow, while searching, I found this one:

MusicReader - digital music stand software - display sheet music on Tablet PCs, laptops or desktops - Hardware :: Laptop

This may work as well.

Wow man, thanks alot for that suggestion! I think I'm gonna head down and survey one of the stores. Thanks so much man.

Deh, i have to tell you, those music stands are really flimsy. Get a portable folding table instead. Or one with a heavily weighted bottom.
