Lace Sensor pickups

Hi
I'm thinking of changing my pickups in my Squier strat (SSS) to Lace sensor pickups. But i m not sure what type to install.

What i have in mind is
1: install all Lace sensor Hot Gold with a 13.2K bridge
2: mixture of different types of Lace sensor,
Neck: Blue
Middle: Silver
Bridge: Red (because my genre of music is usually metal and hard rocks, from what i know, red suits it well)

Any suggestion? =) Thx

hmmm i beleive the red blue silver is better choice...
in terms of price they are cheaper...
and i think more verstatile thru genres...

Ok.. Where should I buy them to get the best price? I've gone to SV guitars and the price is $225 for blue-silver-red.

SV is the official dealer for them. So it's them, or, order online and wait for shipping. THe problem with that, however, is that you
1)Have to wait for it, while at SV you get it immediately
2)Pay shipping charges and may have to use Vpost if they don't ship here, which is troublesome, at least for me
3)May not necessarily be cheaper if you consider the time waiting plus conversion to the US dollar/ Jap Yen/ Canadian Dollar which are currently strong.

dood $225 for 2 pickups is pretty good!! i got just 2 of my pickups for abt $250 and i still have no regrets :)

Ok. Thx for all the infos.
But i wanna hear some comments for lace sensor hot gold also. What is the differences?

Go SV, find one day that mike is in the shop, tell him your needs he will surely be able to help u more than us :) they are professional techie.

if u want noiseless SCs make sure to tell him also cos if not he might intro u to non-hum-cancelling SCs. not that they're bad but just not noise-free lol

I used to have a clapton strat with lace sensor golds.. imo Lace sensors are much hotter than regular pickups and will overdrive an amp very easily. You could consider going all all the way and throw in a 25db mid-boost like the clapton models.. crazy overdrive !

Don't leave out changing the other components when swapping pickups, it'll save you a great deal of irritations later (output jack included).
