kustom amp

It's quite loud. Good cleans and twang. Pretty much characteristics of a regular fender amp. There are 2 channel for dirty tones....a rhythm and lead...the crunch is there without much compromise on clarity. My personal opinion..the drive kinda has more power than the previous marshall dsl401 that I own. the inbuilt digital effects are pretty decent particularly the chorus and reverb, though I hardly use any of the features. I merely line my effects through the cone. Value for the money. Hope it helps you. Thanks.

I've been using the KGA65 for quite a while now. Cleans are pretty good, with that bright switch to make your sound a lil more trebly.

As for the drive channel, it's not a high gain amp but it does its job. I find boosting with a pedal pretty effective. It's got a midboost switch as well on the channel as well. The onboard effects are a plus, especially the reverbs.

One more thing, it's LOUD :)

Overall a good amp, can't go wrong with it.

actually im trying figure out which combo amp is gd for metal and be able to bring it to gig.....i mean those 12 inches speaker

I would try to not use the on board effects, use effect pedals for those. They arent exactly that great. Oh ya, the celestion speakers in Kustoms are way power giller ....

The Kustom should suit you fine, like man_kidal said they've got 12" celestions which provide quite a good tone. Not to mention it's solid state, so it's considerably lighter than tube combos, therefore easier to carry around to gigs. Plus it's got this line out input which you can hook up to PA and let your sound be heard everywhere ;)

They're great if you haven't the cash to splurge on expensive chorus and reverb pedals...

grouynd flr of sim lim? u mean esden is it? well, they shifted to 3rd flr liaoz. #03-40...they still have the mesa sub rocket too...hehe.

I have the 10 watts one....can go louder than my 15 watt marshall.....the distortion is good also.....I keep on using it everytime i do home recording.....bought it brand new from the sim lim square shop for 80$ only....Recommended :D

i've tried Kustom amps, and i think for a good small practise amp the best amp of theirs would be the Kustom Tube 12. I'm not sure if they do bring it into singapore, but if u can find it, then u should get it if u want a nice sounding small practise amp.

I'd take the Tube 12 over the Valbee. If you are not looking for a tube amp from customs, the RC30 is a good choice, if it's still in production though.
