KORG AX-1500G (display)

Hey guys,

I was wondering whether there's anyone who mods the DISPLAY of this mentioned pedal, KORG AX-1500G.
I find it quite irritating not being able to see the display when performing outdoor in the afternoons.

I've asked Randolf this question before. He says it can be done but it'll probably end up frying the thing much much quicker.
