KLIPSCH GMX A-2.1 speakers. FRIGGIN AWESOME value for money.

Hey guys! decided to retire my old creative speakers.. and went simlim to shop for a new computer speaker system... so i can still jam along to mp3s.... listen to my metal stuff when im shitting etc...

i stumbled across these klipsch speakers at the mac shop and it was so crystal clear i was shocked to see its price tag of <$300. though yes they are not studio monitors or anything.... but it has that kinda character... crystal clear... like glassy.. and the woofer gives more then enough bass. i managed to get mine at $265 at some other shop on lvl 3

the harman kardon speakers were like $299, JBL creature II was arnd 265 as well. the harman kardon ....most exx compared to other 2.1 speaker systems sounded like turd compared to these klipschs, the jbl creatures were really small sounding.

i mean the speakers were really so surprising i actually took the trouble to post about it in soft-aside from the normal guitar stuff... but its just FYI guys! really... these great sounding speakers at a decent price.

Yup bro.. Klipsch Speakers is well known for their sound.

In fact, they were the first "PC application" speakers to be THX certified and that was in 96..

I still want to get one but the price is 8O

serious? ... sorry la i use my creative one for like... 4 yrs i think ... last time speakers more expensive some more... haha.. these are like superman speakers.

Good job man, creatures are a bit overpriced for what their worth. Klipsch rocks, I won't say value for money though, cos its still ex for 2.1. But you can clearly see why they are worth it.

You should try running some games and movies on it if you haven't already. Really neat stuff.

Hahahahaha!! Yup.. I was a CCF (Certified Computer Freak) in the late 90s. When Klipsch Promedia came out, there was quite a buzz in the PC gaming community.

Back then it was just a 3.1 system. The 2.1 came out after 5.1 series.

Imagine THX sound system right at your very tabletop!! 8O

haha me too man, I remember it was like 400 or 600US when it came out, and I so wanted one! Nowadays can get quite a lot of different offerings for a decent price. The THX certified ones are really something despite the price.
