KFC Black Metal Commercial

kinda lame the kfc commercial.
i expected the vocalist to blow even more fire when he ate the burger but no he didnt.
and the coke ad though insulting, but its freakin funny.

I think blowing fire after eating the burger will render the commercial tacky and negatively ludicrous, comparing to him being macho and all fronting a black metal band and able to endure an open flame on his face and swallowing it, finding the KFC burger wickedly hot and spicy instantly upon the first bite.

The expression on his face is amusing too.

The current, award winning, trend-setting commercials nowadays are clever in a way that they don't rely on slapstick that border on being childish and intellectually inept.

*(violently) squirming at the thought of Jack Neo promoting Mitsubishi air-conditioners on tv ad*

*shudder*

HELLVETICA, HAHAAHAHA but really props to the dude who came up with this idea. he's got some creativity in his brains. (:

There's a contest to name the song.

I already chose "Aves Satana" (for those who don't get it, Aves is Latin for bird, a class of animals which chicken is a part of... Ave is Latin for "hail!")

Those supposedly "true, kvlt" black metal fans (especially those whose knowledge of black metal only restricted to its image) should just swallow the chill pill as this is not even close to being insulting nor lame... and relax dudes, calm yourselves down by listening to Von (Satanic Blood, Blood Angel) or Watain (Sworn To The Dark) or something.

for those of us who appreciate the BM music genre, we'd do better than to confront an indulgence with limited intrinsic value.

Spoken from a wise sage indeed.

No worries, man, there is no need to be alarmed or defensive. We are just trying to put and view the whole thing in the proper context... ;)

i've nothing against this but it seems that, relating to the replies, there is a potential for differences simply bacause we tend to interprete things differently.

when it comes to extreme music, BM or otherwise, there is a pool of purist followers who would get ticked of at the slightest insult...
