theres easy way out, dont have to get the big kp/ Just get the mini kp, use velcro, stick it onto the geetar. Only problem is the rca to phone jack conversion(easy) and the signal balance(bit more tricky). Usually not much people talk bout the signal balance thingy when combining kp and geetar, which i think is the more crucial point to worry about

do take note the kp is not mean for guitar signal(geetar signal too weak to drive the thing and will result in volulme and tone loss, making the instrument sound weak and dull). Some people put a drive pedal or other volume boost thingy to pump up the volume, its workable as well, but affecting the volume balance in the whole chain of the effect.

Anyway, theres some threads in the forum here talking bout the same thing also, you might like to search for those.

this is one of my setup from sometime back. The mini kp is velcroed to the geetar and connected to a tripple loop geetar/kp blender thingy and combined with the rest of the pedals.

connect to a tripple loop.... whys that? to boost the signal? so just plugging in direct to the rest of the pedals will just give u a weak signal?

i was wondering... is there any combi's u can think of using the Line 6 pod xt live and the KP? i think theres a reason why the pod xt has a midi jack rite? anyway... thnks for that idea for a velcro... not too sure whether it can stick will all my guitar swinging on stage
hahaha
cheers

midi doesnt transmit audio signal though, its channel for different machine to communicate and in turn, either controling the other machine or be controlled by it, to do various functions.

yup, the looper thingy is an active one, pushing the geetar signal after being process by the kp to audible level without the loss of frequency(dull sounding).

our instrument signal is too weak to drive the kp. Kp is usually mean for line level instrument. The different in instrument level and line level signal can be googled and explained in more details.

if you wanna try the kp with pod or any other thingy with 1/4 inch phone jack(those seen on geetars and effect pedals), you just need to get rca cable and a rca to 1/4 inch mono phone plug adaptor(with one black ring). Can be found in neighbourhood shops like homefix or hardware/video store. For velcro, get those dual lock type(can be gotten from homefix and many other places as well), those are really really secured.

something like these below for the rca and rca to phone plug
