just realised something

When i was young let say 12,i singed knocking on heaven's door by gnr.
I tottally killed it couldnt even sing properly that time....
My fren who was 5 years older than me that time told me u sing better then me but u wont be able to make it... lols then a few months ago i frequently listen to steel dragon and mr.big
Hearing songs like we all die young,promise her the moon and stuffs made me start singing again.
Then i realise im getting good at this.
Last 2 weeks and this week we ve been singing mr.big songs on the road kinda strange but its ok with us we sing at coffeshops and stuffs..
I realised that everyone can sing unless the project their voice in a manner that people would like to hear or is just simplly nice
just wanna hear what u softies have to say about this

I think it boils down to what someone defines as "nice"... technically due to the varied styles and tones there are in the world, people tend to stereotype your voice and expect you to sound like another artiste..

I don't think it's wise to listen to anyone who says you can't make it, like they're making it big themselves..

Projection is usually a necessity for songs like that because of the tone quality it gives out with regards to the music style.. but it's not always the case for some other music like say, chillout or something where the breathier, subtle, quiet voice is appreciated in..
