JP switching?

hey guys, any john petrucci fan here? got to see this pickup switching of petrucci, middle position give two outer coils for each humbucker active with a custom 3-way 4pdt switch.. this will give even more clarity and clean tone.. still looking for this kind of switch btw,. any thoughts on this switch?.. Dimarzio's have this switch, ibanez also has this 3-way 12 channel switch dunno wats the difference tho..

is there any difference with having a simple toggle then just add a mini switch to coil tap? and i maybe they dont have that kind of switches here in singapore but thats just my opinion I dont go out alot. does the switch look small? the lever is quite cute it should add fun to switching!

EBMM JP BFR 3-way switching goes (N) series humbucker, (M) split-parallel inside coils, (B) series humbucker; this can only be done using a 12pin 4PDT toggle switch...the beauty of this switch is u can split with the M position w/o additional controls, e.g. push-pull pot or another toggle switch..

JP BFR also has push-pull tone, which can set the M position to (D) split-parallel inside coils and (U) two series humbuckers in parallel..

so there are 12pin 4pdt toggles in singapore?.. maybe you are referring to audio switches big bulky ones or the switch is like a light switch or something.. a short 3 way toggle would do.. and to daemonspade: ye kinda fun isnt it?

if you are familiar with the toggle switch of an Ibanez SZ gtr, it's the same type...

can buy online from RS Components, Farnell or DigiKey, i think free delivery within SG, at least with my experience with RS..

sim lim tower got sell this kinda 4pdt and 4p3t as well, round $4.50~$5plus per piece when i bought it couple of years back.
