In commemoration of my favourite vocalist Ian Curtis. Here's a cover of the very first song I heard from Joy Division.
Curtis committed suicide in 1980 at the age of 23 as he was struggling to balance his musical ambitions with his marriage, coupled with his failing health as a result of epilepsy and depression.
His memorial stone was inscribed with the words "Love Will Tear Us Apart", which is also the title of Joy Division's single. It was said that the lyrics reflects the problems in his marriage.
