Join Smokey, Greg and Paul Anderson for 2 evenings of traditional sit-down blues jamming at the Esplanade Concourse. With two guitars and harmonica, these sessions are the kind of quality downhome live blues that you rarely get to hear in Singapore.

Enthusiastic about performing live, Kelvin “Smokey” Ng has shared the stage with various international blues and roots acts such as the Holmes Brothers (US), Harry Manx (Canada), Enrico Crivellaro (Italy) and Phil Manning (Australia).

He has also recorded for Mandarin pop superstars such as Jacky Cheung, Stephanie Sun and Na Ying. He played on the theme song for local Chinese TV drama series “Toa Payoh”.

Special Guest – Paul Anderson

Born in 1949, guitarist Paul Anderson grew up in a magical era of music and change and in a family with a love of boogie , swing, blues and classic rockabilly . He was active in the Australian music scene in the 60s. With a deep love for blues and roots music, he will sing and play some rare old time blues numbers from Lightning Hopkins and Lonnie Johnson this time.

Although having performed and jammed with each other in the electric blues band format, this will be the first time that the trio will come together to play some old-timey, downhome blues in the back porch jamming style of the Deep South!

Kelvin "Smokey" Ng - vocals and harmonica
Paul Anderson - vocals and guitar
Greg Leow - guitar
