Slipknot is not an easy band to handle (greece tried to band them) and it likes it that way.
Why did you pick the mask you wear?
the original one that i did. thats completely white. my mum actually wore that for halloween when i was 5 and it has always been stuck in my head, you know, it fits well and everything.
Sounds like a pretty traumatizing experience for a 5 yr old.
oh yeah dude. she came out and scared the hell out of me. im not kidding, that was insane. it fits though becuase its kind of what i'm doing now.
will slipknot ever unmask?
I really doubt if we will ever take our masks off, i really doubt it.
Whats the kind of motivation behind your music.?
i'm not going to cheat you with some stupid answer. i like heavy music, i like that kind of sound,. we have a craving for intense music. were not pissed at the world nor do we have any ulterior motive.

But you do get some pretty extreme reactions out of people. greece tried to ban you.
I think its just a misconception that people have with the band. and to tell you the truth, i like it. i'm glad they tried to ban us becuase here was no way they could. we still played the show and we put on a great show. greece was awesome, they tried, they failed, we succeeded, done deal.
honestly, whats your association with the devil?
are you serious? people make up that stuff. were a very heavy duty, involved band and were not an easily digestible band, probably the most un digestible band, but as far as satanism, no way!
has anyone tried to unmask the band members?
oh yeah, that happens all the time. we have secuirty gaurds for that.
Will you be toning downyour act for singapore or will you push the limit?
we'll probably step it up! actually we're playing 4 extra songs in singapore instead of our normal set, so it'll be something like 18 songs.
So what kind of musical carnage can we expect? you guys are the heaviest band to perform in singapore since :supz: metallica :supz: in 93
everything you've heard about slipknot, all the stories, all the questions will be answered when you get there. i really cant say becuase the brand is so unpredictable when playing live. its different everynight. all I can say is that you guys will crap your pants. youre going to love it!
